New Construction or Upgrade Service

When you request a new electric service, upgrade your existing meter, or relocate service, Sioux Valley Energy requires an engineering contact to estimate the project cost. An initial application deposit may also be needed.

Are you constructing a new house/structure and need electric service to that location or are you adding electric load and need to upgrade your service?

If the answer is yes, contact the Sioux Valley Energy Engineering Department at (800) 234-1960 during business hours (Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).  Engineering works on the electric facilities up to the point of your meter. Anything beyond the meter to your home or building would be taken care of by an electrician.
