C.L.A.S.S. Grants

Cooperative Learning and Supplies Scholarship Grants available to area teachers

Sioux Valley Energy will provide 10 area teachers a $350 grant to purchase supplies for their classroom. 

One teacher from a classroom in each of the Cooperative's 10 Director districts was selected to receive a grant.

One teacher from a classroom in each of the Cooperative's 10 Director districts will be selected to receive a grant.
Winners were selected during a drawing held on August 19 via Facebook Live.

Winners of the 2025 C.L.A.S.S. Grants were:

*Two additional lucky teachers will receive grants due to mismarked districts on winning entries.

C.L.A.S.S. Grant Guidelines

  1. Application must be submitted by the teacher seeking the grant. Other applicants will not qualify.
     
  2. Grants must be used for expenses in the applying teacher’s classroom.
     
  3. The applicant must teach within the Sioux Valley Energy service territory footprint.
     
  4. Applicants must teach students between PreK and 12th grade in a group/organized school setting.
     
  5. All grant monies must be used by Dec. 31, 2025.
     
  6. Receipts for expenses must be submitted before the grant is paid.
