Sioux Valley Energy is a growing cooperative, providing service to 20,000 electric and 2,700 wireless Internet customers in South Dakota and Minnesota. SVE employs more than 100 employees, maintains three service centers and is governed by an 11-member Board. The cooperative seeks an experienced Professional Engineer to manage the engineering department and coordinate the development of the construction work plans, long range plans and engineering studies. Candidate should have a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. A minimum of four years, preferably seven years of progressively responsible experience in electric system design, construction and operation is required along with a minimum of three years experience managing the work of others. Ability to become certified as a Professional Engineer in South Dakota and Minnesota is required. The cooperative offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications along with an excellent NRECA benefit package. Key Account/Marketing Specialist Sioux Valley Energy is seeking a Key Account/Marketing Specialist at the Brandon Service Center. Responsibilities include managing relationships with key accounts; conducting energy audits; educating customers about energy use and rates; implementing marketing, energy management and communication programs; and participating in community and economic development projects. Bachelor Degree in electric-related field, marketing, or economics is preferred. Three years experience in a related technical field and experience in energy management, database management and commercial business relationships preferred.
